Brigitte Character Design

A character design based on a class design brief! I really had a lot of fun with this one, she's supposed to be a dancer of any age with an interest in many schools, so I really tried to make her stand out as a bit of a fun loving trouble-maker sort of kid! In designing her I considered meshing her outgoing more wild personality with a rigid and conforming situation, so I thought to make her a student at a private school - or at least one with a uniform. I thought the challenge would be interesting in how it would evolve her character and her design in how she could wear her dance clothes as a modified uniform as a way to still stand out!
